A fourteen-page introduction outlining the development of organ-building during the 1960s and ’70s is followed by details and specifications of all Classical Organs built in Britain during the period 1975–79, arranged in order of size and illustrated with line drawings by John Brennan. Following this there are 64 pages of photographs (on art paper) depicting all the major instruments described. First published in 1979, a hardback edition, with dust jacket, is also available.
